
The project is located in Pudong New Area and Lingang New Area of Shanghai. The main construction content includes the construction of new Class III double line ship locks, regulating gates, anti salt pumping stations, transportation bridges, navigation embankments and other supporting facilities. It will become the largest inland waterway transportation hub in Shanghai.
The bottom plate on the north side of the lock head in the first-line ship lock that was poured this time has large structural dimensions, dense reinforcement, and strict temperature control requirements. More than 2000 cubic meters of concrete were continuously poured. In addition, the complex hydrogeological conditions in the construction area pose multiple challenges to concrete temperature control, crack prevention, and on-site organization and coordination.
In the construction project, the project team adheres to the concept of "scheme first, technology leading", and implements a three-level monitoring responsibility mechanism of "management personnel+team leader+on-site operation personnel" on site to ensure "zero delay" in instruction transmission and "zero disconnection" in process connection. For the key link of the access road, a dedicated person will be arranged to be on duty throughout the entire process, optimize the access process, coordinate various forces, ensure the orderly connection of all aspects of on-site pouring, and ensure the continuous and smooth progress of pouring operations.

In response to the difficulty of controlling the hydration heat of large volume concrete, the project team adopts a comprehensive temperature control strategy of "internal reduction and external protection", with internal water circulation for cooling and external covering for insulation and curing. Intelligent sensors are used to monitor the temperature difference between the inside and outside in real time, effectively preventing the occurrence of temperature cracks. Before pouring, the project team optimized the concrete mix ratio multiple times, scientifically installed cooling water pipes and intelligent temperature monitoring systems, and refined the construction process of "layered pouring and inclined surface promotion"; At the same time, comprehensively deploy various logistical support work such as pump truck parking, tank truck routes, backup power sources, emergency equipment, etc. At the same time, strict implementation of various safety control measures is carried out on the project site, including setting up warning areas, standardizing electricity distribution, and strengthening protection management for high-altitude operations, to comprehensively strengthen the safety defense line throughout the entire process of pouring the bottom plate.

After the completion of the project, 1000 ton container ships can achieve two-way navigation, and inland ships can directly reach Yangshan Port through the Dalu Line waterway, reducing the distance by about 70 kilometers. This is of great significance for promoting river sea direct transportation and high-quality development of inland waterways, improving the efficiency of the Yangtze River Delta water transportation network, and enhancing regional flood control capabilities.
