As the button is pressed, the dispensing device starts smoothly, and the Chinese sturgeon in the water tank slides slowly down the preset slide into the Yangtze River. The agile seedlings leap into the blue waves and swim towards the depths of the Yangtze River, carrying the common expectation of the whole society to protect aquatic organisms and restore the ecological environment.
It is reported that the Chinese sturgeon, as one of the oldest surviving vertebrates on Earth, is known as the "giant panda in water" and has extremely high ecological and scientific research value. This proliferation and release activity is a concrete practice of deeply practicing the concept of protecting the Yangtze River, as well as a vivid manifestation of consolidating the strength of all sectors of society and working together to protect the ecological home. It is of great significance to promote the continuous improvement of the ecological environment of the Yangtze River.

The breeding and release activity of Chinese sturgeon was held at the emergency dock site of Hengsha Xinzhou, which is currently under construction. The terminal is constructed by CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. The main construction content is to build two 3000 ton bulk cargo berths, with a total length of 280 meters and a width of 25 to 30 meters. After the completion of the project, it will form a "T" - shaped overall layout with the existing Hengsha Xinzhou supporting freight terminal, further improving the regional port infrastructure system and providing solid support for regional logistics transportation guarantee and ecological protection related operations.
