
The Yongjiang Grand Bridge is located in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, spanning Zhenhai Port District and the mouth of the Yongjiang River. The person in charge of the project, Zhou Bing, told reporters that the design of the ultra-high diamond shaped tower body structure is complex, the size is large, and there is a gradual change in the lower tower column, resulting in frequent process transitions; The lifting tonnage of steel anchor beams inside the tower is large, and the installation accuracy needs to be strictly controlled within 5 millimeters, which is easily affected by external environmental interference and leads to a sudden increase in the difficulty of construction measurement; Since the start of construction in June 2024, the project has gone through two typhoon periods and one monsoon period. In winter, strong winds of level 6 or above often occur at the mouth of the Yongjiang River, resulting in frequent intermittent shutdowns. The annual effective operation time is only over 230 days.
Faced with numerous challenges, the project team of CCCC Road Construction has taken "construction quality engineering" as the core goal, and has made efforts to break through the situation from the aspects of production organization, resource allocation, and technological innovation. They have established a research group on "Rapid Construction Research of Cable stayed Bridges" and developed and applied the "Cable Tower Reinforcement Component Lifting Construction Technology" - the cable tower reinforcement is tied into sections of 6 meters on the ground, and through self-developed adjustable lifting equipment, the steel reinforcement of the component weighing more than 60 tons is lifted to the top of the previous section with a tower crane, and then tightened and connected with a new extrusion cone sleeve. This not only improves the safety of high-altitude operations and the quality of steel reinforcement connection, but also greatly shortens the time of steel reinforcement operation process; We have innovatively developed the "Climbing Mold Intelligent Hydraulic Control System", which achieves six functions including synchronous control, pressure monitoring, oil temperature monitoring, wind speed monitoring, construction visualization, and data recording, significantly improving the efficiency and safety of climbing mold ascent.
The successful topping out of the main tower of the Yongjiang Grand Bridge provides a reliable time guarantee for the safe passage of the subsequent steel-concrete composite beam cantilever construction during the typhoon period. The bridge is expected to achieve full line connection before July next year.
The Hangzhou Ningbo double track Ningbo Phase III project has a total length of 26.15 kilometers, starting from Weihai Interchange and ending at Chaiqiao Interchange of Liuheng Expressway. It is an important component of the national expressway Hangzhou Ningbo double track and also an important transportation channel for Ningbo Zhoushan Port.
After the completion of the project, it will improve the expressway network in Ningbo, enhance the capacity of the coastal channel, strengthen the connection between the eastern and northern parts of the city, and have profound significance for Zhejiang to build a first-class strong port and promote the integration of transportation in the Yangtze River Delta.
