Among them, the total length of the Zhongjiao Road construction and construction section is about 1.2 kilometers, covering road engineering, bridge engineering, drainage engineering, lighting, signal lights, traffic signs and other road ancillary projects.

After the completion of the Zhou Deng Expressway, it will effectively enhance the communication and connection between towns such as Zhoupu, Zhuqiao, Chuansha, and Kangqiao and the central urban area. It is of great significance for building an east-west passenger corridor in the central area of Pudong, strengthening and improving the high-speed road network structure in the central area of Pudong, and enhancing the functionality of Shanghai's urban skeleton road network. As the main expressway distribution road for Shanghai East Station and T3 Terminal in Pudong Hub, it is a key component of the hub's "fast in, fast out" system connection. It can not only ensure the transportation function of Pudong Hub and improve its external communication channels, but also provide important support for the road network of Disney and the southern area of the international tourism resort. At the same time, the project will promote the integration of Shanghai East Station and the urban area. After opening, it will take less than 30 minutes to reach the center of Pudong New Area from Shanghai East Station, and the commuting time from Zhoupu to Shanghai East Station can be shortened to less than 20 minutes; The construction of ground roads will also open up some traffic breakpoints, greatly improving the travel conditions of residents along the route.
